Campout

Once again, we headed out to "Camp Panic" (the name we joke about!). Karl and Scott set up the tent,

roasted marshmallows and had smores,
and played badminton! Karl and Scott took me home, and then they returned to spend the night in the tent (while I stayed home in my comfy bed!). They had a great night in the country. But Karl did say that the birds were really loud all night long! :-)

Prvi Maj

For May First (Prvi Maj) we went out to the village home of our friend Jordan Panic (pronounced Yor-dan Pahn-eech, not Panic!) and spent the day. We had a great time enjoying the beautiful scenery and greenery. According to Jordan and Karl, it was too much greenery, so they spent the day trimming trees, bushes and whatever else!

They made a big bonfire with all of the cuttings.

Karl then let the fire die down enough to cook hobo dinners. Yummy!!!

Scott had fun, too. He shot his bow and arrow, played ball,
helped Dad carry limbs and throw them into the fire,

and even got a "war wound." He tripped over a concrete slab that was sticking up and scraped his leg pretty good.

All part of a day's work!

I enjoyed the day taking pictures, relaxing, and reading a good book!
