Ladies' Retreat and Surfing!

This past weekend, I went to Slovenia to a ladies' retreat at Terme Catez. It was a blast! We ate way too much, laughed, cried, studied God's Word together, prayed, and played. What a blessing!

One new part of Terme Catez (indoor thermal water park) is the surfing section. You get the board, jump on it, and go! Some of the people tried to get on their knees, and one young man was actually able to stand and surf! Most, though, just used it like a boogie board, laying on it. It was so fun! When the water catches the board wrong, however, it pushes you up the hill and into the padded wall - ouch! Good thing it's padded! I can't wait to take the kids there sometime - I know they'd love it, too!
