Just Like His Dad

Karl recently showed once again how much he is like his dad. The muffler on the lawnmower went out. Now if we were in the States, it would be $3.50 to pick up a new one. But here, they are over $30. The "Bannert" in Karl balked at that price, and he got to work making a new one with parts from the old one, a lid to a jar, and rivets (his new toy!). You'd think McGyver lived here!

Karl commented that he had been taught well by his father. Quite a complement. Happy Father's Day, John!
